1) Where are you located?
A: Our boats are docked at the "Gasparilla Fishery boat docks" located
at the Placida Fishery Restaurant 13010 Fishery Road, Placida, Fl.
33946
2) What time do we depart?
A: Normally we depart at 8:00 AM unless otherwise agreed upon.
Night fishing and tarpon trips are set-up for the tides or moon.
3) How many people can we bring?
A: We are licensed to carry 6 passengers and 2 crew (Capt. and Mate).
No exceptions.
4) Can we bring kids?
A: Yes! We love kids and enjoy taking them fishing. 6 years and older
for inshore and offshore fishing. 12 years and older for tarpon fishing
in Boca Grande pass.
5) Can we bring our own fishing poles?
A: Yes, if you have a favorite pole you like, bring it. We use top quality equipment such as PennTM, ShimanoTM,
DiawaTM, and Fin-NorTM reels matched to quality rods. We supply all tackle and bait.
6) Do we need a fishing license?
A: No, our boats have the required state licenses and federal permits needed to fish our local waters and the
Gulf of Mexico.
7) What do we need to bring?
A: I like to suggest that you dress for the conditions depending on the season. We always recommend a hat or cap,
sunglasses and soft soled shoes. Also sunscreen, motion sickness remedies, and prescription medicines you
may require. Bring your lunch and your choice of refreshments. Beer is okay in moderation, but if it gets out of
hand the trip is over. PLEASE, NO hard liquor, illegal drugs, or G.P.S. units allowed. Don't forget your camera or
video to capture your memories of the trip.
8) Can we keep our fish?
A: Yes, each angler is allowed his/her take according to state and federal regulations and slot size limits. When we
return to the dock we will clean and bag your catch as part of our service. We can also make arrangements to
have your "catch of a life" mounted by a reputable taxidermist if you choose. Prices are on request and require
a 50% non-refundable deposit.
